Configuring a dell 5324
Since I never manage to hold on to manuals, I had to try to figure out how to get a dell 5324 configured to have an IP the hard way.
First, the serial port is 9600 8/N/1 with no flow control (hardware or software).

I thought I’d check out the web interface, since the command line is pretty clearly written in engrish, but unlike previous dell switch models, I now get :

Microsoft Internet explorer 5.5 and above
Netscape Version 7.1 and above
when going to the page. I’m using mozilla 1.7.8, so it must have hard coded versions to check for. great.
