Farmers Insurance wants your car to be stolen
A friend had their house burglarized and their car stolen. The car was recovered, but the thief still had their keys. Farmers refuses to pay for changing the locks, saying that it’s no more likely to get stolen with a criminal knowing where they live, and having the keys to the car.
They’d apparently much rather play the odds and maybe have to pay out for a $30k bill when the car is stolen and trashed instead of a $1400 bill now to prevent that from happening.
Farmers insurance really is as bad as everyone says.
